Before adding a new account make sure to delete previous APRN email accounts including ‘Outgoing Server (SMTP)’. Just go to ‘Account Settings’ and select the item to be deleted.

  1. Select Local Folders from the left sidebar then click on (Setup an account) Email.
  2. Type in your name, email address and password then click on ‘Manual config’.
  3. Use the following configuration

Incoming

  • Incoming: IMAP
  • Server hostname: srv21152.flexwebhosting.nl
  • Port: 143
  • SSL: STARTTLS
  • Authentication: Normal password

Outgoing

  • Outgoing: SMTP
  • Serverhostname: srv21152.flexwebhosting.nl
  • Port: 465
  • SSL: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication: Normal password

Make sure to use your complete email address as username.

4. Click on ‘Re-test’. You should get the notification ‘The following settings were found by probing the given server‘.

5. Click ‘Done’. You may get the following notification: ‘Unable to login at server. Probably wrong configuration ….

6. Click ‘Advance Config’

7. Click ‘Done’

That’s it. Please try test by sending emails.
